Bio

Tones of Rock are a Glam Metal & Hard Rock band formed in 2009 by Francis Venus (vocals), Danny Shred (guitar), Jonny Roxxx (drums) and Katty Kiss (bass). In 2010, the band made their live debut while releasing their first track, “She’s Talking”.

Born alongside the New Wave of Glam Metal in Portugal, Tones of Rock quickly stood out for their extravagance, sensuality and high-energy live performances.

With the addition of Rick Madison on bass in 2011, and after dozens of shows across the country, the band
released their debut album “Glamourized” in 2015, featuring singles such as “Hot Tiger, Love Desire”, “Glam Robot” and “At The Motel”.

In mid-2016, Jonny Roxxx left the band and was replaced by Dylan Krash. With a new lineup and a refreshed image, Tones of Rock returned to the stage while beginning work on new material.
At the end of 2020, in a year marked by the pandemic, the band overcame adversity and revitalized the Hair Metal scene with the release of their second studio album, “Banzaw Mansion”, featuring tracks such as “Milfshake”, “Volcano” and “Cleopatra’s Slave”.

In 2024, the Tones of Rock universe inspired the fiction film “Barranco do Inferno”, which features the single “Hell Ravine” on its soundtrack — one of the band’s most notable releases to date.

In 2026, Tones of Rock entered a new phase with the release of the EP “Reality Hits”. With a rawer and more personal approach, the record explores real-life experiences of its members, highlighting the singles “Hell Ravine” and “Game is On”, and marking a clear artistic evolution without losing the energy and identity that define the band.
